Pam Robinson is a Chicago based jewelry designer, craftsperson, educator and founding member of the Chicago Metal Arts Guild. She teaches at the college level and at an art center for continuing education.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has studied gemology at The Gemological Institute of America. She has also taken numerous workshops over the years in her field.

Growing up in Chicago, Pam was fortunate to be surrounded by so many resources rich in the arts.  She started making jewelry when she was in high school but had always been painting, drawing and throwing an occasional pot or two since she was a small child.  Inspired by creating jewelry and small metal sculpture, it was only fitting for her to attend The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  After receiving her BFA, She apprenticed for many jewelers over the years doing bench work.  This is where she really learned the finer points of the business as well as the craft.  It was when she attended GIA that her love of gemstones really became apparent.  She began using them in most of her work.

In 1994, Pam established a business for herself creating custom made wedding rings.  She also has a line of one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry made of sterling, gold and gemstones.  Her work has been published in numerous books and magazines and has been demonstrated on many television news segments.
